Staying at the Choo Choo was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean but a bit disappointing, and the staff, particularly Graham at the front desk, was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was very good, with some impressive features like a train car bar and fountains. However, the dining options were not very good, especially at frothy monkey.

After checking in, the only positive thing I can say about this place is that the room was large. The hotel makes up for any shortcomings with minor aesthetics, especially at the front desk. Graham was very accommodating when we decided to check out. The location is great as it's not right in the middle of town but just on the edge, very central to everything downtown.

The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, making the upgrade less of an issue. The service was very helpful and informative, although they parked their cleaning cart directly at the bottom of my train car steps. The location was pretty, with a nice pool, but not in the center of the action. The dining experience was extensive but a bit pricey, especially at $37 for two people.
